London Hotel (Bar)
Southampton
Ive been here a few times and always had great fun, set in the heart of Southmpton, its a mixture of traditional pub meets drag entertainment. Always busy but a very safe place to be. Drink prices typical for the area. Hotel and parking a bit of a pain but easy to commute via Uber from just out of town.

The Ship Inn
Rochester, Kent
The Ship is quoted as the oldest gar bar in the UK . The bar itself is dated but in a separate section the is a small stage , lights and when I was there a smoke machine. It was quiet but I was there early, the drag act was performing at 10pm. I'm assuming it gets busier later on as it closes at 2am ? The customers were predominantly gay men, saying that everyone was friendly and accepting, felt comfortable and relaxed. Id probably go back there but probably before a night out for a few pre drinks.

Peek a Booze
Blackpool
This Budget Hotel and Bar certainly lives up to its name. The interior is likening to a working men's club, tired, dingy and very old fashioned. The entertainment is the usual karaoke ! such a cop out. Yes the drinks are cheap ad the food very basic but it still remains even after new ownership one of the worst bars around. On the up side I felt comfortable there and accepted.

Flying Handbag
Blackpool
One of the busiest and popular bars in the LGBT triangle, modern, air conditioned, good stage and entertainment, DJ in the evenings and thank god no karaoke ! Drink prices are on the steep side compared to other budget bars but the atmosphere is sooooo much better. The security and staff are very welcoming plus bar shuts at 3am. I felt at home here and one for the to do list. Negative side keep your handbag on you ( some thefts ) but in general a safe place to go.

Bar Plus
Chelmsford, Essex
Bar plus is a great fun pub set in the heart of Chelmsford Essex. Its had its problems recently but im glad to see it back on its feet and doing a great job. Some entertainment over the weekends, bar staff are great and you will always receive a warm welcome from everyone . Always a joy to go to.

Lu Lu's Lounge Bar
Blackpool
Lu Lu's has and still remains the hub for a good girls night out, probably the only "trans" bar in the village its simple but has a certain charm about it. Rum by the lovely Lindsey ,Mary is always on the decks banging out some tunes. Always friendly and the most safest place to go, Perfect for your first time "out" . Its a cash only bar which can be a pain but one of the cheapest around for drink prices. Always a joy to go here and then venture off later in the evening.

Mardi Gras
Blackpool
If your going to Blackpool you have to visit the Mardi Gras. Its at the heart of the community and always welcoming staff. Been there loads of times and felt so safe. The drinks are probably the cheapest around and the entertainment is good, norm a drag act but all great fun. John Street runs a great venue and is a pillar in the LGBT community. Highly recommend a visit !!!

Queen Shilling
Bristol
What a little gem in the heart of Bristol. Small but adequate, great athmosphere and was very welcoming. A few gay guys with no shirts on but each to their own. Great night and good music

Phoenix Bar
Bristol
Called here to meet with some freinds I had not seen since before lockdown, they suggested the Pheonix. Its a strange L shaped interior with the DJ propped in the corner of the L, very loud music. But outside to cold to sit in and lots of smokers. My friends and I met some lovely people. We all felt safe and welcome here. Had a few wine and sodas, no food. Bar staff welcoming and freindly. I'll be very happy to return on my next Bristol visit.

Sidewalk Bar
Birmingham
Great little pub on Hurst street Birmingham, very accepting and friendly staff. There is entertainment most nights (Check website) I had a slight issue with ordering food when I went as the chef wasn't in that day, but apart from that a great pub and had a great time

Legends
Brighton
Love this place, the staff and security are lovely. Very relaxed and no issues at all ! gender neutral toilets ad trans girls very welcomed. Met some lovely people when I visited. Drag shows are fab and the acts are very talented. Down stairs is a club ( small but music is good ) late night finishing and really enjoyed y evening. I will be back

The Queens Arms
Brighton
Visited here via Legends, there was a drag show on as I sneaked to the bar. Very welcoming and no issues at all. Its a small bar and an outside smoking area. One I would recommend if your out clubbing for pre drinks.

R Bar & Club
Brighton
R Bar has a great atmosphere and a cool terrace in the summer months. I felt very relaxed here and loved my visit. Next door is the club (Revenge) it was OK , quite big but a very young crowd, not that is was an issue what so ever but I would have preferred a mixed clientele
